We were fortunate enough to see Ryuichi Sakamoto live a few days ago! I’ve been a dorky fan of his since my wee high school years, so it was really fulfilling to be able to experience him in concert. I think Patbird enjoyed himself as well, although he started looking very concerned for Mr. Sakamoto somewhere around the fourth encore.
I might have cried just a little during Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence. If you haven’t heard his stuff, definitely give it a listen.
