Big news, gang – I’ve finally obtained that little slip of paper telling me I’m eligible to learn how to drive in a real-life car (attended by a real-life adult), and my darling cousin (the eerily observant reader might remember her from last Thanksgiving) has volunteered to show me the ropes! So if you happen to be a small child wandering through Ann Arbor… well, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Looking ahead: next week’s comic might be a few hours delayed, but rest assured it will be an exciting (or at least unusual) one. Some of my Thai relatives are visiting the States, and I’ll be seeing them for the first time in about eight years!
And finally, in Patbird news: homework homework homework, making new friends, reading, homework? Don’t worry, there will be much Patbird in the comics to come. Patbird to the max.
