Born in Florida, named after a Lord of the Rings character, raised in Thailand, Germany, and Northern Virginia (important distinction).  Graduated from NYU with a BFA in Film & Television, concentration in animation.  Also knits, reads, and plays DDR.  Currently rereading The Way of Kings and dreading its inevitable sequel-free end.
